Nestled at 400 Wolfpack Way in Gallatin, Tennessee, Liberty Creek Elementary opened in August 2022 as part of the brand-new Liberty Creek campus. The school was built to address chronic overcrowding in nearby Gallatin-area schools and to serve a growing population in north Sumner County. Designed with a capacity of 850 students, Liberty Creek fits within a state‑of‑the‑art educational complex alongside a middle and high school.
Since opening, Liberty Creek has served roughly 650–680 K–5 students, with enrollment staying steady in its first couple of years . While its student-teacher ratio of 18–19:1 remains slightly above the state average, the school prioritizes high‑quality instruction, a robust STEAM curriculum, and comprehensive twenty‑first‑century skill development to empower students as future community leaders.
From Day 1, Liberty Creek Elementary has championed a sense of identity and pride. Branded as the “Wolfpack,” the school integrates its dynamic wolf mascot and cohesive school values into daily life, fostering a welcoming environment built on teamwork and mutual respect. It emphasizes STEAM initiatives—science, technology, engineering, arts, and math—designed to frame learning in hands-on, critical-thinking contexts.
The Liberty Creek campus is part of a $103-million district investment, initiated in response to rising crowding at Station Camp and other Gallatin schools. Construction began around 2020 and culminated with the elementary and high schools opening in 2022; the middle school followed soon after. A strategic rezoning plan reassigned students from Beech, Station Camp, and Gallatin High School zones to balance capacity, anticipating the campus rise.
